Touch of Disney

 Disney announced a new timed/ticketed Food Event.  My husband got us tickets to go the first weekend.  Ticket prices were $75 which included a $25 food credit, parking (which started 1/2 hour before the event) and unlimited photo downloads.  Our tickets were for March 20. We stayed close by and went into Downtown Disney early.  My husband mobile ordered beignets before the Jazz Kitchen Express was even open!  Thankfully we brought our coffee with us.  We ate then went to get in line.  I guessed we were in line with the first 200-300 people.  They started letting us in at 11:30 am.  None of the food was ready yet so we decided to take a walk to get our AP magnets.   We went back to Smokejumpers to get the Monte Cristo and the frozen coke with rum  with the Mickey ears bowl of fries .  They made a mistake and gave us the chili fries but let us keep them along with our plain fries.  On the way to the first store to shop I stopped at the popcorn cart outside of Elias and Co. for some c

 So not long ago Disneyland reopened Downtown Disney for shopping and dining.  Just recently they announced that they would open Buena Vista Street in California Adventure Park for additional shopping and dining during the Holidays.  We decided that it was worth a try to go down for our annual Christmas shopping and a slightly belated Anniversary trip. We decided on a Thursday through Sunday trip.  Driving down we did a stop in Burbank so I could get a new dress and lipstick.  (OMG, Blood Red from Besame Cosmetics goes with everything!)  We got stuck in a bit of traffic and got to Anaheim a little later than we would have liked. Lines in Downtown Disney for mostly everything was long.  I was able to exchange my Haunted Mansion dress for a better size.  We ate at Tortilla Joe's and Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen (outdoors, of course).  And we got to go into the new Star Wars store that they moved into the WonderGround Gallery.
